If you go to this hotel, DO NOT book a room on the 3rd floor. It's the only floor that is a smoking floor and the cleaning staff on that floor is extremely nasty and unsanitary. I had to get one of the ladies from the first floor to re clean my room. Ms. Coco re clean my room and she did an OUTSTANDING job! Next time I go there, I will only book for the first and second floor ONLY. The hotel is very close to where I needed to be and walking distance to the casinos. The desk staff was very friendly.
Room was ok. Breakfast disappointing. No sweeteners for the coffee. Beer limited continental breakfast. Expected more from a super 8. No wheat bread, really.
It was pretty clean & the staff was really nice. We got what we expected for the price. The bed was comfy and it was conveniently located for our purposes. Our only complaints were that their soap/shower products were pitiful and they wouldn't provide us with any utensils outside of breakfast time.
The night I got here the lady who was working was wonderful and helpful. The next day was not what we expected. House keeping never came AC stopped working the whole 3rd floor smelled of paint thinner and paint. Once house keeping came the following day the two people that cleaned the room did nothing but bad mouth us because my kids had toys on the floor and cooking crumbs on the floor. I asked that our sheets get changed do to my baby weting the bed and they never changed the sheets. Went to ask them for sheets willing to change them myself just to get ugly looks and the Two people who cleaned my room say something in India and later tell me they would bring sheets later. Yeah that never happen had to go to front desk to get new sheets.
For the most part it was clean, with the exception of my room. Tub drips hot water, ac should of been on in hallways {especially in Louisiana! Bathroom outlet didn't work, so no blow dryer or coffee in bathroom. Ac wasn't put back Together, smelled stuffy. Was only taken $20 off next night stay.
