It's 1 Star due to the 16% tax rate. Apparently being between 2 Parishes they have to charge for both. Luckily all I got was a soda.
Very nice overnight stop. Clean pool and laundry mat. 5 minutes away. Flea market looks like nothing until you get inside lots of antiques. Also nice restaurant Louisiana style food . They also give you homemade cookies when you arrive at the camp ground.
Dunno if the other places around here do the same.

The Boudin balls are great here. Good relaxing area for a break from driving.
Stay here a lot. Quiet truck parking. Best Stop is the best thing around to eat at in Duson. My friend Mike stays at Tobacco plus across the freeway it's hella expensive. But he's gay, we all know how that goes.
The Best Stop Cafe inside has the best boudin, cracklins and food period!
